The story so far…
Our story starts in 2018, when two of our founders, Paul and Ian, had their own eureka moment.
Big or small, each of the brands they were working with were referring customers elsewhere when it came to providing for their foreign exchange needs.
Without many alternatives around, the problem suddenly became clear: through a combination of bad rates, added fees, and a clunky end-to-end experience, these customers were getting a really bad deal on their FX — and each brand was guilty by association.
Paul and Ian decided that the time was right for real change, and that’s why Send was created.
Like bringing a newborn baby into the world, things were tough at first. There were countless late nights, much screaming and shouting, and lots of times we had to get our hands dirty.
We’re still learning and growing every day. In fact, our journey’s just begun. However, just like it was on day one, our mission is clear: we want to shake up the world of currency transfer for the better.
Through a combination of brilliant people, seamless technology, a market-leading product for our partners, and an outstanding level of service for their customers, we think everyone deserves the very best deal when moving their money overseas.
